At Aisha & Co., our Ishababies® family of ‘soft-sculptured friends’ with ‘flavors’ for everyone has been critically
acclaimed in the media and at industry shows. Since its inception, the Ishababies® line has continued
to grow with additional flavors, backpack-clips, clothing, and accessories.
What are Ishababies®?
Ishababies® is one of the most fully multicultural, huggable friend lines currently available in the marketplace.
Each Ishababie is made with a 100% super soft cotton exterior and is great to hold! In addition, each character is
detailed with elegant simplicity. Ishababies® 10" Friends and accessories are all child-safe, lead free and
have no buttons or hard surfaces . For that reason, they are suitable for all ages. Just give them
a hug and you’ll see!
Isha (short for Aisha) means life. Ishababies® represent the uniqueness of each of us within the global
village. Each of the Ishababies® has his and her own special eye, hair and complexion color, without
representing any specific background or ethnicity. The soft sculptured babies come with fun mix-and-
match clothes that reflect different walks of life.
Why were Ishababies® created?
Ishababies were created by Aisha Bailey, a pediatric medical student who could see the beauty in all
children and wanted children to see the beauty in all people. Her goal with Ishababies® was to create
characters that capture the magic in a child’s eyes as they help people learn that they should be valued
for who they are. Ishababies® are more than dolls and action figures. They are friends who reflect a
child’s imagination and individuality. They also help children of all ages see the possibilities, beauty
and values in themselves and the diverse world around them.
Every person was born with a distinct look. We have come to believe that it has become commonplace
for people to undermine their natural attributes and talents to become “just like everyone else”. Aisha &
Co. believes that everyone should love the way they look and celebrate their unique beauty. At the same
time, we should also relish the fact that beauty comes in many different forms.
It is for this reason that each Ishababies® flavor has been deliberately selected to relate to its look. By
doing so, we are teaching people to celebrate the many facets that each individual brings to the world.
We at Aisha & Co. believe that it is only by genuinely embracing and seeing the value of all people that
racism will one day come to an end. If people are able to free their minds, they will finally be able to see
the world in a truly different and more beautiful light -- the world of Aisha & Co.
Why do the babies have such puzzling expressions?
Ishababies® 'newborn' facial shapes and unique expressions are designed to "bring light into each life
they touch" by evoking the joy, awe, inspiration and wonder of the "child" inside us all.
Why do the tags have recipes on them?
As Aisha sat baking in her kitchen one day, she had an epiphany -- calling her freshly baked cookies her
“babies”, she realized that all people were created in a similar way -- with light, love, and goodness, no
matter what “flavor” they are. The same can be said of Ishababies®. Inspired by rich Cocoa, deep yellow
Marigolds, and large succulent Peaches, to name a few, each Ishababies® character captures the
essence of why we are here -- to spread light and joy to the world. She wanted to represent all of these
qualities with a simple unique “recipe” on each one. Periodically, new “flavored” pairs will be added to
the bunch. Each flavor represents sweet goodness that anyone can relate to as well as a “kiss of
approval” signature from their master confectioner, Aisha Bailey.
What do you mean by “flavor”?
Flavor is a term used to describe what makes people unique. Things that go into making your flavor can
vary greatly -- eye, hair, or skin color, even ethnicity…but, it can also be a love of a sports team, being part
of the knitting club, playing outside, swinging as high as the top bar, chewing your gum too loud… these
are all things that go into defining who you are.

Aisha & Co. is a family owned and operated business that takes pride in the care that we give our babies.
Our staff is dedicated to ensuring quality and packaging accordingly. When you receive your babies, they
will be sent with care and encased in love -- we hope that they bring smiles to your face.
How are Ishababies® made?
The babies are made of an 100% cotton exterior that is stitched with the utmost care and quality. Their
huggable softness comes from all-new materials and is perfect for holding. They have been safety-tested and certified. Each baby has an Ishababies® logo stitched on the back of their cotton
diaper and a signature of the artist on its back -- your assurance of authenticity.
How do I care for my Ishababies® friend?
To clean your baby, it is recommended that you machine wash it using mild soap with
a gentle wash cycle. The baby should then be tumble dried on a medium-low setting.
Aisha & Co. Gives Back
Aisha & Co. believes in giving back. We donated over $20,000 in products through Toys For Tots
to needy children including those affected by Hurricane Katrina. We also donated 600
Ishababies Friends to the NJ CARES institute for foster children. In the past several years,
we have made numerous donations to other charities and will continue to contribute
to causes that directly serve children in need.
Aisha & Co. Product Distribution
Aisha & Co. products are sold globally in retail establishments and on websites . We ship
anywhere in the U.S. and selectively ship international orders as well. Any questions or concerns
