Why Flavors?
While some see Marigold Girl as Asian-american, Mixed Race, Hispanic or Asian, she could just as easily be European, African-american, Native American or any number of other origins. Aisha’s objective in creating "flavors" was not to escape the reality of the origins of each of us but to give us a vehicle which embraces each of those origins in all their variations without limitation. With flavors, our objective is to go beyond multicultural(appealing to more than one) to pancultural™ (appealing to everyone). Ultimately, our goal is for every Ishababies® character to be compelling for everyone-no matter what their “flavor”.
