Inspired by the essence of cappuccino, expresso and tiramisu, the Mocha flavor evokes the boldness inherent in the Ishababies family. This is Mocha Girl. She is one of 16 members of the highly acclaimed Ishababies® family of soft-sculptured plush 10” Friends. Why Flavors?
While some see Mocha Girl as black , African-american , Hispanic or African , she could just as easily be European, mixed race, Asian-american or any number of other origins. Aisha’s objective in creating "flavors" was not to escape the reality of the origins of each of us but to give us a vehicle which embraces each of those origins in all their variations without limitation. With flavors, our objective is to go beyond multicultural(appealing to more than one) to pancultural™ (appealing to everyone). Ultimately, our goal is for every Ishababies® character to be compelling for everyone-no matter what their “flavor”.
